Brea Electric is the oldest business in Brea. We have been family owned and operated since 1928 when Frank Holly founded the company amidst the start of the Great Depression. After quoting several other large and small contractors. Richard, the owner of Brea Electric, got me the lowest quote in addition the highest quality work. A complete re-wire installation from "knob and tube" wiring to current standards. I watched the entire installation and found the staff extremely helpful and courteous. Richard and his staff went above and beyond to address every concern I had during the job including addressing a couple extra small items which were not included in the original quote. I would highly recommend Brea Electric to anyone in need of any electrical service or upgrade who are concerned about getting the highest quality work completed at the most competitive price.

The first problem with contractors is whether or not they are reliable enough to show up. The next problem with contractors who do show up is whether or not they are competent. After looking forward to a visit from Brea Electric to solve some unsafe electrical conditions, I have to say I was greatly disappointed. We never got to whether or not my technician would be competent. He never showed up for a scheduled appointment. The office kept rescheduling but he never ended up coming. Brea Electric ended up wasting my whole day. No final call, no explanation, no apology. I did have better things to do than to wait for them all day.

I knew of Brea Electric's solid reputation on the commercial side of the business, so I was not sure if our smaller residential job would interest them or perhaps it would be too expensive. Our experience was fantastic! The crew was punctual and extremely professional; couteous and clean and quality work all around. I was most impressed when we received a follow-up call after the job was finished from the owner himself, Richard Holly, who wanted to ensure the job went well and met our standards. You just don't see that type of personalized service anymore. I highly recommend Brea Electric. Quality work. Great service. Fair price.

We have used Brea Electric for several years now and no matter how big or small the job we have, we have never been disappointed.  We have developed a relationship with the technicians as well as the owner.  They are always on time and ready to work.
