Banking site and software has always been a t least a generation, if not two, behind competition. No check scanning, wasn't mobile friendly website for many years, etc. 

When I told local drive through staff I had account hacking, they said they could not freeze account...have to wait until next day to fill out forms. This is not a good response to risk in today's environment.
