I often use the basketball court and the kids playground with my son. Swings, slides, beautifully cover from the hot sun - water fountain to refresh yourself, tables for picnic, parking. There are also tennis and squash courts.
This place is the trifecta of sports love for me. First two tennis courts both hard on the canal. Secondly, a half court basketball court with 3 point line for practicing my jump shot. Lastly, a two ample hitting walls to practice my game or set up a make shift pickle ball court. Parking is limited and the entrance is one way so you might have to go around the block if you follow directions on google maps as it takes you right the the exit rather than the entrance.
One of the nicest small parks in South Miami. Beautiful canal view from the tennis courts. Nicely maintained kiddie playground and located in a very secluded neighborhood. Tennis courts do get crowded occasionally
This is a great park. Right on the water the side of Brewer Canal this small park has a lot to offer. 2 tennis courts, 2 racquetball courts, 1 half basketball court, water fountain, swings, picnic tables, and a shaded/padded playground. This is a great place to come out with the family for a fun filled day. Its location makes it not only relaxing but safe. It is located on a residential one way street on one side so there is very low traffic and still has a fence to separate from even this.
Bewer Park is down the street from our house and the renovations to the playground including the new handrail and canopy are fantastic. The people are always nice and usually wear masks. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, wall ball courts, the covered playground, swing sets and the canal known to natives as the "duck pond". Great local park.
It's perfect for my 1 and 5 year old as you have small enough play ground and swings for both young and old. Also, they sometimes watch the tennis players on the court. The wild life as best as a city can get is great with ducks, ibis, iguanas are all great to watch.
Tennis courts in excellent shape. Sometimes is busy and you have to wait to play.
Went to this park with my wife and son, we had a great time and enjoyed the friendly neighborhood atmosphere. The playground has plenty of slides and games for kids.
Nice little peaceful local park w decent tennis, single basketball & racquetball courts. It needs restrooms & lights to get 5 stars.
Not a park for small kids even though the kids have a playground, where's the bathroom and water fountain? This is South Florida and it's hot. Just saying....
