Story

The McPartlon brothers were "up on the roof" at a very early age, so it's no surprise the sons of New York master roofer Thomas J. McPartlon would follow in his footsteps. Kevin McPartlon founded the 2nd generation company in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1983, with just 3 laborers (including partner and brother Brian), one truck, a kettle and a commitment to old school values, integrity and craftsmanship. Something they'd learned from decades on the roof with Dad.

It didn’t take long for their skills and experience to gain attention - and customer appreciation - and the fledgling business grew. A decade later, Brian bought the business from his brother, and made McPartlon Roofing of New Mexico's premier roofing contractors – receiving the national “Roofing Contractor of the Year” award in 2007 from Roofing Contractor Magazine.

McPartlon serves a wide variety of commercial, residential and industrial clients – featuring new and retro roofing. Products include Modified Bitumen, Metal Roofs, T.P.O., RMI Coatings, Living Green Roofs, Shingled Roofs and so much more - with superior service and maintenance programs. McPartlon can design, install, service and repair virtually any type of roof – and we're specialize in roofs that last in our rugged Southwestern climates.

Roofing in the high desert presents a multitude of challenges. Santa Fe is a 400 year old city, located in the high desert at 7800 feet, and filled with historic buildings and structures. Strict architectural codes require that (almost) all buildings are flat roofed with parapets. This style is known as “pueblo” and dates back to the “adobe” buildings first constructed by the Native Indians of the Pueblo along the Rio Grande.
