Fantastic service paired with stellar food makes a combo that goes by the name 'Brick'. I recommend this to literally everyone. We plan to come back as soon as possible 😀. Micah was our server, I wish the best to him for the near future!

Just got done eating here.  Okay....I am just going to say that overall it was okay.  The hostess was nice.  Sat  at the bar.  The bartender was fine not really personable.  Seemed kinda grumpy or maybe just really cool.

I always seem to wanna go here when friends come into town. It's unique and fun (though tends to be a little loud). Amazing meatballs for sure!! From what I understand, the owner is incredibly knowledgeable about wines (sommelier status), so that's an awesome bonus for wine lovers!

Quality is always good. A little pricy. Don't get stuck in the back. Excellent lamb sausage. A great alternative if South of Nicks has a wait.

My family was visiting Carlsbad for the weekend and decided to drive up to San Clemente one afternoon. We chose Brick Pizzeria as our dinner destination and we were impressed with both the ambiance and tasty foods. Our kids had pizzas which were offered as "build your own pizza". They ordered different types and the ingredients were brought to the table allowing them to participate in the food prep process while ensuring their toppings were placed where they wanted them. The pizzas were fired up in the brick oven and came out looking great. Both kids gave them thumbs up afterwards, yippie! My wife had the Basil Chitarra pasta which, after stealing a taste I wish I had ordered. The pasta was clearly made that afternoon and the sauce and burrata cheese made the dish excellent. I ordered The Farm pizza which is advertised as having farmer's market vegetables. It lived up to its billing as it came out looking like a local farmer had spilled his spoils onto my plate. The one item I couldn't identify by sight was orange colored and I assumed it was sweet potato (which was all good by me). I asked the waiter just to be sure and turned out to be butternut squash. First time I had that on a pizza and it was welcomed. We ate on the patio which was open and spacious. I could see bringing my team from work here to celebrate. I also thought the inside was well appointed and had a relaxing, comfortable feel as both a romantic date would be just as fitting as a family night out with older kids. I left Brick thinking it's one of those types of restaurants that brings you back to a city instead of the other way around. Well done, Brick Pizzeria!
