The best thing about the Brighton Division of the Boston Municipal Court is the people. The clerk's office is very helpful and always honest with lawyers about continuing a case. They are willing to say no when they should. Most often they say yes, but when they say no, it's for a good reason.

If you are serving jury duty, it is good to know that you are allowed to bring laptops, tablets etc. The court officers, judge and staff were very helpful and prompt (as much as possible) about setting expectations. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed compared to other times I have been called for jury duty in other courts. Please take with a grain of salt as I can only speak from my limited experience and I am sure it varies day-to-day.
