This school is rated a 2 in the school district and I understand why. Most of the Teachers and staff aren't working in the children's best interest and have no vocal involvement with parents they're not organized. I can't wait to get my child in a better school

I have taken letters to the school for certain issues for my son that still has not been done right, he is autistic/aspergers and is having so much difficulty, almost like no one cares. I had to get in touch with someone over the school to get anything done.  he is now going to be moved and was held back instead of being put in 1st grade for no reason, he did K the year before, and its not that its required to do K, but was juts something for him to get started with, I get so frustrated, its almost like its a burden when you call the school for help and that its more of a "I dont wanna deal with this" attitude.  This is the second school our son has been in with the Portsmouth school district and I am not in the least impressed, Victory was even worse than Brighton.  The only good thing about the school is the teacher he has.  If I had a choice he would go to a school that actually seemed to care and wanted to make sure he had help.  I mean the Dir. of the spec ed dept didnt even know what was going on.  I thought our kids were supposed to be the priority of the school system!
