My father passed away in October and we went thru Brings for his cremation. We were told by them that since my father was a vet the VA would cover the cost and all we had to do was send in paperwork. Ha, I wish that was the case. The VA rep was appalled that they gave us such incorrect information. Instead of covering all the cost the VA only covers a max of $300 a big difference from $2000 that we were charged. The worst thing was that all the paperwork we were given should have been filed by the funeral home and sent off to the VA. All Brings did was give us wrong information and neglected doing their job. On the side of the building they have a sign about how they do Veterans funerals. I find it funny that a place that works with the families of vets all the time cant even give you the right information. I will never recommend this place to anyone! They lied and couldn't even do their job. The impression they gave me after this was that all they cared about was the money they were getting from a young girl who just lost her dad and was nine months pregnant.
