We went there during restaurant week, and had a full course meal. I have to say the waiter offered a great service and was very kind to us. Their biscuits were fresh and absolutely delicious along with their sweetened butter spread. I ordered their clam chowder and it was about okay, I felt it had more celery or veggies than clams, it could probably be my portion as well. I also ordered a salmon with risotto; and it was cooked perfectly. However, if I were to order the same entree at regular menu price; I don't think it would be fair price. I felt lucky that I was able to try this place during the restaurant week, since their regular menu pricing is very high. However, my wife ordered crab cakes for entree and I have to say it was about average and she fell sick next day. Or else I would have probably given a 3.5 star for this place.

What an amazing experience!  We had no reservation so we got sent tot he bar. I mean it was 11am and they were just opening for the day. Well it was quiet and we got a great booth, so no harm. Well it just kept getting better! The food was amazing, the wine was amazing, and the prices were reasonable. The espresso was good and the hazelnut ice cream is to die for.   What an amazing experience. We will search this place out on our next business trip

I heard a lot about this place from my work  and had to check it out myself. (I work at a nearby hotel.) I was hoping for a relaxed place to bring friends (and for the casual traveler). This NOT that kind of place.  It's more of a place to spend money to impress your partner.  I give it 5/5 for the place as it is. But, I am now much more cautious on referring people to that location.
My guy was very uncomfortable and felt out of place. I spent over $95 on just two dinners, two side salads and two drinks.

Amazing restaurant. They have the best happy hours in town too. The oyster selection and price are unbeatable. Beautiful restaurant inside and out.

Great seafood and desserts! They have something for everyone, and our waiter was knowledgeable of the menu, making recommendations without being pushy. The only reason for the less-than-perfect score is the price. The only time I can go is for very special occasions or if someone else is paying. The Bristol is excellent for people, whether they love seafood or not.
