Great atmosphere and cozy little local spot. The coffee is great and so is the staff. The scone I had wasn't very fresh but otherwise a great experience. Great local business to support!

Great neighborhood hub with staff who care. "Enter as strangers, leave as friends" is their motto. The owner, Mike, has done an excellent job of creating a culture that cares about high quality coffee and community.

This is Sumach Espresso's older sister, and is a longstanding neighbourhood favourite. What's the same: the excellent coffee drinks, the snacks, a welcoming ambience with plenty of seating. What's different: it's cash-only (there's an ATM in the basement) and there is- *gasp!*- no WiFi. At this point, a barista explains, some of the regulars would be downright offended if that were to change; lack of connectivity promotes quiet reflection and cozy conversations. It's not a bug, it's a feature. StopGap ramp up from street-level, but washrooms in basement.

Great place to have your coffee and relax. Outdoors seating is also available which is even more better place to enjoy your coffee

Always friendly service and great coffee. Love this place. It’s a highlight in the neighbourhood. Usually get an Americano and enjoy it sitting in the Muskoka chairs on the patio.
