The owner sold this place and shortly after the wall came crashing down. It had to move, although they keep making bagels, the new owners did not keep the same recipe the original owner had. The flavor of all the bagels and even how they look completely changed. Horrible taste it's quite a shame I used to prefer Brooklyn bagels over many other places, but now any of the other spots around town are much, much better, quality and taste......

This has been my favorite place to go for a New York style bagel when I visit this side of town. I recently stopped by after about a year and half away and was disappointed on this visit. I'm not sure what the change was they made but the quality of bagel is not the same. The flavor, texture and size has diminished. After viewing the process of making the bagels it seems the mix has changed and is not being made on site anymore. I will be back, I hope I just picked a bad day.

I grew up in this neighborhood and remember not being to fond of this place. I don't know if it's because I'm older and I appreciate food more, I definitely have become a fan recently. Always soft, big and tasty. I love their egg bagel! :)

Mmm, one tasty bagel. It's nice to have this spot here as they do have some no frills good bagels. But hey, if you want frills, well then, you got yourself some delicious off shoots. I, for example, upon yelper's recommendation, I went off the radar of my usual onion bagel and tried the banana nut bagel. Wow, that was something amazing in itself. The problem I have with cream cheese is that I try not to go off the reservation since it seems like too many factors thrown into the mix. Either way, they do have flavored cream cheeses and they are fairly good if you want to spice things up some.
