Pier 5 is a part of Brooklyn Bridge Park. Pier 5's main feature is it's huge field where I saw a large number of kids engaged in a sporting event. Thanks to the authority's brilliant vision in transforming an abandoned piece of valuable real estate in Brooklyn into a park badly needed in Metro NYC. You can also come here to enjoy the tranquil surroundings along the waterfront overlooking Manhattan's skyline. Thank you, Mr. Mayor.

Love the place! Great view and park to play. They have also added CITI-BIKE where you can take it for an ride. The COTI-BIKE cost about $12+tax=14 for 12 hour. Hopefully it helps

This is a must see if your coming to visit NYC! Views to die for for those that take alot of pictures like me! You can lay out on the grass picnic,bike or catch a flick on the movie nights ..
