We stored a lot of items so we had 2 storage bins. 1 of them was robbed and we had locks on both bins. Manager said " i noticed it was open so i lifted it up i saw a stainless steel toastet oven and boxes were stacked nicely he continued with the next day i opened it and the toaster oven was gone and boxes weren't there". He never called to tell us soneone cut our locks and put their own (the thief) on our storage unit. There is no security there cameras dont work, gate most of the time is wide open, the motion light was spray painted over, and when the gates are closed, there is a huge hole in the fence for anyone to get in..codes are never changed or taken out of the system. NO NOT A GOOD PLACE!! I heard it was just hit again with being robbed real recent... we no longer have our things stored there. We lost enough from the robbery..

I hope to prevent others from suffering the same kind of problems that I have encountered with this storage facility. The items I had stored in their facility were sold after weeks of trying to work with the office staff who offered one excuse after another for automatic deductions for monthly payments not being submitted to my bank. By the time I was notified that the deductions were not being taken from my account I was several months behind in payments. Of course with those payments being late due to their negligence in not submitting them to my bank, I had then accumulated late fees that exceeded the payments on my unit. In addition their claim was that they had sent certified mail to me that had not been signed for which led to additional charges for those. After learning they had been sending the letters to an address where they had transposed numbers, they began attempting to justify all of their mistakes. If the payments had been taken out as authorized I would have had no late fees, charges for certified mail and all of the other charges they listed. My account would have always been current and I would not be heartbroken over the loss of family items that can never be replaced. The items included the cremated remains of family pets since childhood that were sold or disposed of. Nothing in the unit was of monetary vaue and I made every effort to resolve this issue. Unable to afford the inflated charges tht totalled nearly $500.,I was not able to pay the amount they demanded and my treasures were sold for pennies. I am certain this was done to cover up the fact that someone was not doing their job and I brought it to their attention. The assistant manager with whom I was dealing even made the statement that she was not going to lose her job over this. My emails to the office manager that originally set up the lease for me by phone as I was out of state, were never answered by her, but always the assistant manager in spite of the fact they were marked to her attention.. This is clearly NOT a facility that I would ever trust to do business with unless you can monitor them closely, and being out of state I neglected to do so. I took them at their word and I am now paying the price. I fully intend to pursue this legally, but it will not bring back to me items so precious and are now gone forever. There are several other good storage facilities in Brooksville to use who are trustworthy and offer ethics and "genuine" personal service to their customers. Please use them instead! I offer the fact that they would much prefer to sell my things for almost nothing knowing the contents and the importance to me rather than return them to me for the amount they were sold for.
