A nostalgic atmosphere for 50+ yr old Koreans to reminisce tough times from the past and drink soju. For real - middle age Koreans really do gravitate towards haphazardly put together interior that reminds tough times of the past and this is that restaurant. A no frills atmosphere with wood fire mini grills to cook at your table. Food pricing is about $40-50/plate for beef. I usually get the unmarinated ribs - its OK. Service is very little - you are pretty much on your own at this little hole in the wall restaurant - and you have to ask for everything.
Great little kbbq place, charcoal grilled meats, friendly service, delicious banchan, and decent prices for your cuts of meats. Parking is a bit difficult and it's a small restaurant. Also this ain't an AYCE place.
Charcoal grill Korean BBQ restaurant. Food quality is good But the price is over quality charged. This place is not recommended for Family dining. Good quality pay for expenses dining is okay. Service is better than before. Our group per person is over $150 for the feast. That's too expensive for disappointment and regret. My opinion is the meat and other menu's Tasty but the price is expensive, restaurant's interior looks like Korean cheap pub decorations. Parking: Parking lot not enough space if no space, just waiting or looking for street parking recommended.
Great option during and after covid times. Meat quality is way better than ayce option, which also is reflected in the price. However, the higher price is worth it with the charcoal grill and attentive service.
Remind me the restaurant in Korea. Good quality meat and taste good. You may experience a lot of smoke while BBQ. Women should not wear perfume because won't work! Lol
The best Korean BBQ in LA. The superb quality meats grilled on charcoals which gives meat unbeatable flavor. I always visit with friends when I am in LA. Charcoal grills not only smoke meats better than gas, they also release a chemical called guaiacol. Guaiacol is an aroma compound that gives meat a smoky flavor, and it only comes from wood and charcoal.
Very tasty, super friendly staff, will come back!!! Recommend
Highly recommended. The price is very expensive typically $50 per person, but the quality of the meats are second to none. They also use charcoal which gives the meat very good flavor. If you're looking for AYCE, look elsewhere. The restaurant isn't very big a few tables inside and patio tables, but I haven't had to wait very long the times I've been.
Decent food but the service could be better. Took my client here to experience kbbq luckily I was Korean and could navigate through the mediocre service, The whole point of eating out is service, they need to get with the times and get some good servers.
I don't usually review Korean restaurants but this one i have to say. They serve food based on head count, it doesn't matter how much you ordered. Which made me think should I pay my tips based on my head count? Also it was super expensive, didn't bring waters, only one of the waitress was nice and rest was absolutely trash. Food was good but very low low portion. Just don't go this place you will have bad experience
