Michael Broussard is one of the most childish, ignorant, negligent and unprofessional attorneys I have EVER heard spoken of. As most work places appear at first site, everything starts off great, until you begin to notice your own boss making snide and impertinent remarks not only to you but to his entire staff. Of course, with these comments, his expectations remain of a person who still believes, no matter what is said, he is highly worthy of respect, he doesn't even deliver himself. As a founding partner in charge of a law firm in one of the most well known cities in Florida, due to his heinous attitude, especially towards my sister, I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. He treated my sister cruelly by talking down to her and when he, himself asked her a question pertaining to his treatment of her and others, he clearly was not suspecting the truth, because when the truth was delivered, he chose to act like a child and not to speak to my sister at all while turning the rest of the employees, including his wife against her. Who would want to be a part of such an immature establishment? Now I'm not exactly sure why a grown man feels the need to disrespect anyone who simply came in, did their job and answered an open question honestly, but because he chose to do that, he also lost a great asset to his business. Mr. Broussard, you get NO RATINGS from me, and I hope that one day, you intend to grow up to your fullest potential. Clearly, the qualifications of obtaining and being the head of a company are slim to none, because I wasn't aware adolescents were allowed to run a business. Just a word of advice, be careful what you ask for if you can't take the response.

I worked with Broussard, Cullen & Blastic for a little over 2 months. I can say that the employees at this firm are willing to take on individuals who are willing to learn and everyone in the firm is willing to lend a helping hand when questions are brought to light. Nancy Blastic & Karen Cullen are two extraordinary accomplished woman who you cannot help but to admire. You have to acknowledge and appreciate how they are able to not only do their jobs successfully but also carry with them a sense of grace while maintaining their careers as working mothers. Anyone should consider it a privilege to even have the opportunity to meet these two women. Unfortunately, I had to part ways with the firm when I asked the founding partner, Michael Broussard, not to refer to me as "Ugly", "Unfriendly", "A Smart A**" and not to talk down to me when he would get upset. This resulted in me being labeled as "Unprofessional" and I was told that I was beginning to make the owner uncomfortable. I find it odd that a middle aged white male (who would call his employees in his office just to yell and curse at them for sport) would find himself physically uncomfortable in the same proximity of a five foot African American woman in her early 30s. While I do not want to say this but I believe that Mr. Broussard was upset with me for asking to be treated with basic human decency he instead began to avoid me and attempted to label me as an "Angry Black Woman" While I do not believe that race had anything to do with my initial introduction to his abusive behavior I do believe that in the end he did not feel like anyone, not even an educated black woman who did her job well and refused to allow him to treat her like his property rather than his employee. There was an instance where Mr. Broussard called one of his paralegals to his office, yelled at her loud enough for every employee in the building to hear and used the term "G**D*****" on more than one occasion and all she did was walk away. Broussard, Cullen & Blastic was a double edged sword. You have the opportunity to learn and gain knowledge but at what cost? I did not believe that having the owner ignore me on a daily basis, walk around me and give everyone the impression that I was somehow tainted and dangerous was worth it. Even when I brought it to the office's manager's attention, she would express who you shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable in the work place but if Mike was the one who made you feel uncomfortable then you just have to take it. It is distasteful that a man who is that successful would result to childish tactics (like telling others "Don't talk to her", ignoring phone calls an emails just because they were from me and throwing things at my face rather than handing them like an adult) and think that he would gain any respect after that. If you are not opposed to being subjected to belittling and discrimination from an individual who demanded respect that he felt entitled to while feeling like he had a responsibility to make the individuals who work for him feel like he was doing them a favor by employing them, then I do highly recommend Broussrd, Cullen & Blastic, P.A.
