Please read, this is a warning to stay away from this funeral home!! They offer poor service unless you have a big funeral and tons of money to spend. A family member recently had needs for their services and from beginning to end the process was the worst experience at the worst possible moment. Although the arrangements were prepaid, they only checked on the family one time and it was for them to sign the bill so that they could get paid. Then everything else that could go wrong, went wrong. The casket that they were given was dirty on the inside and it appeared to be used. They had other services going on during their calling hours so the family was moved to the dining area (since it was a smaller family and they figured it would not be a problem since it was a smaller family). There was not enough seating or room to sit the whole family in that area. The music that the family requested to be played was given to another family and then lost. A flower arrangement that was sent by family members for the calling hours were placed in the garage to be sent out with other items being disposed of or donated. These were only a few of the things that went wrong on those days. When the family brought these mistakes to their attention, instead of an apology, they received an explanation of how they would be losing money on this service and therefore it was perfectly acceptable to provide substandard service. During this family's moment of extreme grief and pain, they went on to explain of how their company would no longer offer prepayment as an option because they didn't make enough money on these types of services. It seems so cold-hearted and inhumane to bring this financial matter up with the family. That seems more of a problem that they should be handling with a business manager instead of a grieving family. How can a family be responsible for the financial health and well being of a business? That is not why people require their services and people do not go into their funeral home with the idea of how can I make these people money. They go there to bid farewell to their family members and loved ones. They go with the hopes of making the last few hours that they will have with them special, not to be treated as if they are merely dollars walking in or out. If this company honestly views their customers in that way, they should at least do a better job of hiding it. Obviously these people are only concerned with making money and NOT on meeting the needs of the family. They were extremely cold and insensitive to the family during such a difficult time in their lives. The website offers care and concern for the families experiencing loss. However that was the last thing on their minds. They were completely unprofessional, cold-hearted, inattentive to the families needs, and full of excuses. Please STAY AWAY from this place. Even a refund isn't enough to repair the emotional damage to the family caused by these people.

My family was very pleased with the care and attention everyone provided to us. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My husband could not have made a better choice. I believe he truly had his family at heart when he chose your funeral home.

We are shocked to see that Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home has a negative review. We had such a positive experience for a dark time. The staff members were so friendly and helpful. They respected our privacy and really made us feel welcomed at the home. We are very pleased with the funeral services overall.
