I haven't stayed/camped here. But since I live very near here I have done my walking here a lot. The campground is very nice, with hookups for travel trailers and motor homes, and spaces/sites for tent campers. In late winter and early spring there were lots of pleated woodpeckers in the woods there. It's a nice place for families.

Great location. Beautiful area to camp. Tent camping areas need some work. RV areas need some work. Bathrooms are clean. Looks like it just needs some upkeep from a couple of recent floods. Ramp is closed. Still worth going because of the beauty.

We came here for a weekend get away and we were not disappointed. The tent campgrounds were clean and maintained and had a good spaces between sites in the T2 area, and honestly I prefer it over T1 where it was too open and crowded for my taste.  I would give it a 5 star but for the lack of a flat pad in the T2 sites and you have to set up on bit of a slope. The bathrooms were clean and maintained.  There were also nice places to take a walk and take in the wildlife and scenery, and a playground for the kids. All in all we had a outstanding stay.
