The Bryn Mawr Book Store is a treasure trove of used books located in the Huron Village section of Cambridge.
We are a nonprofit bookstore with over 30,000 books in stock and over 4,350 books listed at abebooks.com, selling there since March of 2008. All proceeds from sales go to a scholarship fund at Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, PA, in suburban Philadelphia. The store was founded on September 29, 1971, after several years of large sales held in local churches and at least once at Memorial Hall, Harvard University. In July of 2007 the store was named, “Best in Boston” by The Improper Bostonian Magazine. We do not buy any books; our entire selection is from gracious donations. We welcome other book dealers to come browse our selection. Cash and checks are accepted, but not credit cards. Come visit us and see what makes our store so unique.
