I was a bit shocked when I logged on to access the business phone number and found their Google star ranking  to be so low.
 I have worked with Buck's Saw for over the past decade and have only had the most incredible, top notch, honest and intelligent service members assist me. 
 In the beginning it was highly important that I priced out repair costs and compared them apples to apples with their competitors.  I made my decisions based on contractors I know and trusted and their recommendations,  by location (they are alone in Novato for fuel powered tools like chain saw and hedge trimmer repairs) and ability to turn a maintence tickets for service around so my gardeners were not held up. I was throrough to the point of annoyance on my own end not theirs, they were very patient, and I only went to these lengths because I was not making the decision just for myself but rather as President entrusted with ensuring certain tasks were completed well, on-time and preferably under budget. 
Luckily that role is over but I still like to dot my eyes and cross my t's and make sure that I get the best deal possible and the best advice possible. I find that not only have they fixed the item to exceed my expectations but they also sell the best products. 
 I would recommend to any novice or expert that this place is an absolutely spectacular business and fair in terms of the repairs and maintenance they offer your current tools and they only sell the absolute best In outdoor products for your lawn and garden.  Trust me...electric only works if you live in a condo and have a small oatio and front yard.

expensive, dissembled my saw and returned it that way after I refused them to charge me 200

I bought my chainsaw here because it was supposed to be worth paying more for better service.  I tried to get the chain sharpened--it took much longer than they said it would.  They are also closed for a lot of three-day weekends.  I would recommend trying Walton's or Jackson's first before going to this place...
