I'd like to start by saying this is not a "fake 1-star review" as Chad Yates said. This is my tale of the most inept business I've ever had the displeasure of working with. We had hail damage in Denver. Our insurance recommended Buckshot. It was a bad, bad move. The best way to show Buckshot's ineptitude is via timeline: May 8: Massive hail storm in Denver June 3: After nearly a month's wait, Thomas from Buckshot came and inspected the roof. We choose tile color and gave him a check for out deductible. We didn't want gutter work done, so Thomas told us we would get that money back once the job was done. Thomas assured us the work would be done within a month. July 12: Buckshot cashes our check. We follow up about getting the work done. No response. Several calls over several days later. Nothing. We engaged our insurance company who got in touch with Buckshot. Still, no action. August: Another person from Buckshot comes to the house because Thomas got fired. This person inspects the roof. We have to re-chose tile color. A couple weeks later, materials are delivered. No work is done. September: Permit paperwork is delivered. Despite more calls from us, no work is done or schedule. We engage the insurance company again. They talk about starting legal action to get our deposit back. October 1: Nearly 5 months later, the work gets done. But Buckshot has left various tools and materials in our front yard this whole week. A fellow from Buckshot called this morning, saying he'd pick it up when he gets payment. Gets payment? We cut them a check FOUR MONTHS AGO. They cashed is THREE MONTHS AGO. Also, remember that Thomas said we'd get a refund. So I'm afraid we're looking at dealing with this completely inept company for months more to straighten this out. Long story short: AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

We had storm damage at our home and our insurance company (American Family) recommended Buckshot General Contracting. The individual came to our home after rescheduling THREE times, was disrespectful, and now - almost two months later we have had no follow up. I have left a message on the general number that has not been returned as well. I would personally never use this company based on my experience with them thus far. Please bear in mind I have not actually had any work done.

I was very impressed with this company! I had different work done on both my homes over the last couple years. The first home had damage from a hail storm and I was required to get 3 estimates. I contacted Buckshot for an estimate and they came out that day. They were so helpful in working with my insurance company and getting several things covered that the inspector initially missed. They are very knowledgeable about claims and working with insurance. The insurance company took a while to settle the claim but my rep kept me updated on everything. They completed the roof and did some siding work, which turned out great!! On my second home I had some missing siding. They came out right away and were able to match the siding color even though the home is 13 years old. They took extra time to go through several sample colors and work with me on making sure I was satisfied with everything. The work was done right away and looks amazing! I would never use another company to do any exterior work on my home!!

Our home suffered substantial damage from the recent hail storm, if that was not stressful enough our community was smothered with contractors. Throughout the first week we had several different contractors knock on our door; we listened to what they had to say and in the end went with Buckshot General Contracting. Buckshot was the only company that seemed ready, willing and able to give us the help and expertise we needed to get an already stressful situation completed. The representative took everything into his hands; he did a wonderful job with the adjuster helping them see all the damage. He took the time to keep on the insurance company and in the end we got a fair and reasonable settlement that covered all the damages sustained from the storm without having to pay any out of pocket. They scheduled the repairs around what worked for us, the material was delivered where we had said we wanted them and the crew showed up as scheduled. Our representative kept us updated on exactly what was going on and the day the work was completed he was there. They left our home exactly how it was when they got there; the crew was respectful and hard working. The situation that had seemed so stressful was actually not, my husband and barley lifted a finger and in a blink of an eye the work was completed and looked wonderful. I have recommend Buckshot General Contracting to neighbors as well as anyone who needs work done. A wonderful experience!

We were very pleased with Buckshot. Chad Yates, in particular, was pivotal in working with our insurance company. There is no question that without Chad's knowledge and guidance the insurance company would have denied our claim. We were also very satisfied with the roofing work and with Buckshot's follow through. Highly recommend. Paul Noble
