Comments Policy

We hope that this Facebook page will become a key place for you to connect and be a part of the Bucyrus Public Library community.

This is a shared, public, family friendly space. This is not a space for personal attacks, spam or rants. We will delete, and possibly report to the authorities, any comments which include any of the following:
• Commercial solicitations
• Threatening, slanderous, or obscene language
• Libelous comments
• Duplicated posts from the same individuals
• Discriminatory language (including hate speech) based on race, national origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, religion or disability
• Sexually explicit material and other material that would violate the law if published
• Spam or undecipherable language

Protect your privacy. Do not post personally identifying information (last name, age, phone number or address).

The library reserves the right to “like” other libraries or community organizations’ Facebook pages; we do not like individual users’ pages.

Social media is a 24/7 medium; however our moderation capabilities are not. We will try to respond to questions, comments or concerns on the Facebook page in a timely manner but should you have a question that needs an immediate response you should call the library or send an email. We will make every attempt to remove inappropriate comments in a timely fashion but we may not see every comment right away and ask that you report comments that violate this policy by calling the library at 419-562-7327 or by emailing [email protected] .
