Buddies is a great place for any occasion. The patio is a great space for plenty of people. The staff is always great. I love that the menu always has new items. I tried the new cabo chicken sandwich, which was amazing. We also ordered a Cobb salad and the southwest quesedilla.

Great service and food. The portions are large and if you leave hungry, that's your fault lol. I had the regular wet burrito...huge and tasty Definitely will be backDine in: Yes

Went for the first time this weekend and it was awesome. I was a little hesitant since it’s in a strip mall area. We ate in the patio area. Everything was super clean. Destin was a fantastic server, very patient as I sifted through the menu. Jaime was fantastic as our second server. We stayed through the whole server shift. Destin was kind and introduced us to Jaime and made sure that we were good before his shift ended. We plan on coming back because of the delicious food options.  I wasn’t able to get a photo of the chili. The chili did have beans Texans beware, but it was the best chili I’ve ever had. The menu can be visually overwhelming, which makes narrowing down options difficult

Was here once in '18 & '19. Stopped in to eat outside on patio b4 Delta Covid is wide spread in Michigan. Learned they have a large screened in patio too. Busy at 4pm on a weekday. Screened patio had several ceiling fans. Got a cold brew, chili w/shredded cheese, burger & onion rings. Shd have taken 1/2 burger hm. Ate too much. Food is excellent here. Burger has grill lines. A very large burger. The waitress was exceptional. Very friendly, helpful and on-the-ball. Unfortunately, no Molson or Labatt brews. Very pleasant visit and excellent food. Shd have taken pictures. The food looked great. This location is larger than Okemos. Has a large bar seating area. I think the only one with outside dining.  Update: Sept '22. Stopped in abt 2pm, on wkday. Warm sunny day. Sat in screened porch area on Westside. Many tables open. Only 3 being used. Ordered cold draft, chili, and a fresh salad. All were well prepared. Asked abt coffee, waiter person said it could be brewed. Brought it promptly. Rec'd excellent service. Almost forgot to take pictures. The dining area was clean. Restrooms were clean. A very pleasant visit.

Got the chicken enchilada. I hate to be negative, but it just wasn't that good.  It came with Mexican rice and beans. The service was great, though!  Allie is awesome!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes

After our experience this evening, if I could give a zero star, I would. Our server, Alyssa was extremely rude to us because we asked another server for refills. Our cups were empty when our meals were delivered, and about 8 minutes later, we asked another server for refills. When Alyssa approached our table, she stated “I was bringing your drinks, but I had food to wait for food for another table and I have three other tables to take care of. Thank you!! ” She was extremely rude. The manager came over and offered a discount. When the bill came, they had discounted our $60 bill $3.00.  When I mentioned this, they sent another manager who literally started yelling at my daughter, her friend and myself. I’ve never been treated so poorly. We weren’t even complaining! It was humiliating and we will definitely NEVER be returning. Their food is good, but management is extremely poor. Our dinner wasn’t worth the money or the headache.

We met family for dinner at 5 o'clock on a Friday. Had an enjoyable evening; were there about two hours. When we were leaving the restaurant we realized there were at least three to five parties waiting to be seated at the tables. But overall I would go there again, as I said, it was an enjoyable evening and at that particular time we didn't feel like we were being rushed to eat our meal, and then leave. So, Buddies is very busy place,  but a good time can be had as well.

I can’t say enough good about this place we held a baby shower here , from booking with Roxanne to working with TJ at the event they just rocked it out and made sure we had everything we needed and then some . Family couldn’t stop commenting on how nice everything was and the happy couple had a very memorable afternoon. They were polite and fast and accommodating.!!!  Good food!!

Good food and the long island ice tea! I will be back
