I needed to rent a box truck to move a refrigerator on a Sunday afternoon.  The person who handled my rental was very nice.  I was able to rent the truck even without a reservation. The condition of the truck was excellent and it only had approximately 8,000 miles on it.  The price was good and their place was conveniently located nearby.  I would use this place again for future rentals.

BEWARE!  Knowing that I needed to move on the last day of the month I planned ahead and booked my rental truck way in advance.  Figuring this way I wouldn't run into the issue of getting stuck without a truck.  (I know how the last day of the month is a busy day for truck rentals)  Low and behold - I was wrong.  I show up at Budget Truck rental with my movers, my entire apartment in boxes, and they did NOT have the truck I ordered.  They never even had the decency to call and let me know this.  They offered me a 24' truck which is basically an 18 wheeler that would never fit down my one way street.  Awful.  So now I have to pay for not being able to leave my apartment, I need to coordinate another day to move, I'm paying for my new apartment I can't even live in until I get this figured out, and I'm forced to live with everything I own in boxes.  Don't rent a truck here unless you are prepared to be left without the truck on the day of.
