I asked my daughter who lives in Buffalo to get me a membership for Mother's Day and she did. I have been to the Buffalo and Erie County Gardens twice this year and intend to take my 6 year old Grandson again when I return later in August. The flowers and many plants were set in many wonderful displays. The gardens are laid out in an easy and comfortable pattern to follow. We also visited many of the outdoor gardens. Not all the plants have name markers, but the gardeners were very willing to assist us when we asked questions. I enjoy visiting the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens every time that I visit Buffalo, NY.

Loved this place! Being from Pittsburgh, I grew up visiting Phipps Conservatory, and Buffalo definitely competes with them! What they lack in quantity, this place makes up for in quality. Many beautiful plants, rare species, non native species. Loved the layout, each room has a theme, and the use if space is AMAZING. The building itself is also beautiful inside and out. The woman at the cashier desk was very friendly and informative, when asking for suggestions for a plant in my apartment, she was amazing! I now have an adorable Kalenchoe plant, and some great memories! I plan to visit this fall/winter again, to see different plants in bloom and activity! A great way to spend a casual afternoon, definitely worth admission, and even if you aren't a "plant person", you'll appreciate the beauty and wonder of our natural world after visiting.

Pretty nice place. They definitely had a number of exotic species I had never seen before. Price is okay. If you can't afford to have the family see the inside, there are some nice outdoor areas that are free--and attached to a large park. Great for a picnic.

Diverse selection of plant life. Trees, cactus, mangrove, flowers, medicinal herbs, freshwater pools with fish, artwork, small ornate circular tables and chairs nestled amongst the greenery underneath the greenhouse domes. Very peaceful. Beautiful place to rejuvenate among nature.
