The food is amazing! Sadly there absolutely no customer service. For example, we walked in before a family. They had there food before anyone even acknowledged our presence and I had to walk up to the counter and ask them to send a waiter to our table. They never came back to check on our table and we had to go back to the counter to ask for the check. This is typical service we find here. However, if you look past that, the food is great! We stop in every time we're in Payson (several times a year).

Maybe I came here on the wrong day going by all of the good reviews, but my experience was not good. I sat in a booth (and waited for 2 others) and waited for a handful of minutes before being greeted, despite staff standing around and talking to each other. I eventually ordered my beer, and that came quick. I ordered another 10 minutes or so before a different person came and took my order. I got the fish strips, and they were decent. No one ever dropped a caddy off to me that had napkins etc in it, and I was almost done with my meal when the bus boy noticed I didn't have one. Took another bit to get one on the table. My friends finally showed up, and they waited a while before going to the bar to request drinks. Sat down for a good 15 minutes or so before they gave up on getting food because no one came by the table. I waited about 10 minutes (no one ever came by the table except for the bus boy the one time) for my check, and I gave up and went to the bar for it. That was the first time in my life that I have not tipped a server...or waitress ...I'm still not sure who was supposed to be serving me. I won't be returning there.

Always try to eat here at least once a month or on our way through to Chandler. Never had a bad meal, waitresses are extremely friendly and go the extra step. I feel the food is very good and reasonably priced, and the little extra for birthdays is always a nice kicker.

Was here on a busy Sunday afternoon. Service was good, food was good, restrooms and tables were clean. Had the fried zucchini appetizer it was very tasty and Philly Cheese steak with onion rings. Grilled cheese and Cole slaw. Pulled pork sandwiches are also tasty.

Great bar in Payson AZ. They have a friendly curious staff and a great selection of beverages available. It is very clean and well maintained.
