Go where the locals go. We learned this over several decades of travel. The Buffalo Cafe is great. It's well kept and the food is great and has good presentation. The staff seems to enjoy their work which is a plus. The food will keep us coming back even if I have to drive a bit out of the way.

Good food, good beer, affordable. Betty family friendly. What more do you need in a locally owned restaurant. Steak salad is always good, fish and chips Friday, try the vegetable specials.

Love this place. Love these people. They make good food and they give back to the community in so many ways. This is a place for families, where you'll feel like a local the minute you walk into the door. Even if that involves waiting in line for a while, because the word it out and this place is busy, especially for breakfast. If you don't want to wait, try the dinner menu!

I have gone to this place since I was 9 years old and I am now 27. It has always been excellent for breakfast and lunch. Now it is excellent for dinner, too. They are more like family there than a restaurant to me. If you had a night out in Whitefish and need food in the morning, this is where you'll get a great breakfast for a good price. As a customer for 18 years, I highly recommend this place.

I've been eating breakfast at the Buffalo since the 80's. It's still always fun, but the past 8 to 10 years, I feel the food has gone downhill. The service has always been ok, but not great, but the food used to be good, now days it seems to be a restaurant that lives on through its reputation. We will continue to stop in once or twice a year, but it's no longer our 1st choice.
