Bulldog Ice Cream does not look fancy inside, and most of its flavors of ice cream are not super-unique. I will give a positive review, though, because the employee who served me was very prompt and nice, and I did enjoy the taste of my ice creams. The employee said hello to me, and he asked me how I was doing, and he quickly assembled my root beer float and my two scoops of ice cream. The banana ice cream was interesting with its chunks of banana and vanilla cookies. Prices were average. An area with tables and benches was located outside.
Really cool menu selection of eclectic custom ice cream sundaes and milkshakes. Friendly staff... I got the Orange Dreamsicle milkshake and it came with like four different kinds of orange candy and a whole orange dreamsicle. A cool little place for sure.
I had the pleasure of trying Bulldog Ice Cream today. I got the Little Debbie Christmas tree shake and it was amazing. I wonder how many know that this specific location is run/owed by a 20 year old boy from Cleveland named Anthony that has been working with his dad since he was a child and has huge aspirations of doing so much more. Also a cool little thing was you get to take the glass cup that your specialty item comes in. Judge not by the lack of decor and it being a new business. Give them a try!
Not sure what the smell is but the store just looks very dirty. Myy ice cream had a weird chemical taste and mase my mouth feel numb. Threw it out and went to Handel's!
This place is fantastic. Don’t let the other reviews fool you. My girlfriend and I stopped there today and got the fruity pebbles. It was absolutely fantastic. Tasted great and came in a glass jar you got to keep!! Definitely recommend coming here
The other reviewers who mentioned a chemical taste were on to something… my son ordered the cherry Italian ice and I tried it and we both experienced a burning sensation in our throats and on our lips. We seem to have temporarily lost our sense of taste after eating it. Another reviewer said “dirty dirty dirty”, and they, too, were on to something, lol… the restrooms were pretty dirty. Indoor and outdoors counters/tables covered in old sticky ice cream. Weeds everywhere outside. We waited a while. Employees were cool, though.
Omg so yummy! Just an all around awesome place. Can’t wait to go back! As for the other reviews idk what crack they were smoking but mine was absolutely amazing. I got the peanut butter brownie shake. Delicious! and it had a giant brownie with pieces of brownie in the peanut butter shake. Also the brownie was moist and omg so good! My husband got the Cookie Monster shake it was killer as well. We waited like 5 minutes for our stuff and talked to the employees and they were informative about the place and honestly so friendly. The place is very clean. 10 out of ten would recommend! Wish I would have known about this place sooner!
Went to Bulldogs on the 4th of July. Open until 7:00pm. Walked in with my wife and 2 children at 6:48pm. The gentlemen had just finished serving a customer. When he looked up and saw my family he threw his arms in the air, rolled his eyes and said hi how are you. I said “I’m good but you dont seem be doing so well”’ he said “you didn’t see that my signs were turned off?”. I said “ No, I’m sorry” and we left. As we walked out he said “have a good night”. We went to Handels and like always, we felt welcomed and we were served by an employee with a smile on her face…… I know that employees are near impossible to find but I can spend my money anywhere. If Bulldog is only open until 6:45pm then advertise so, don’t treat customers that come in 10 minutes before closing like they are bothering you then refuse to serve them. I understand that they want to go home and spend time with their families and friends but a customer should be made to feel welcome at 6:48pm just the same as a customer at 4:00pm. I’ll never go back. There are plenty of other ice cream choices in our area.
Amazing milkshakes, best in town! The only knock I have is the menu. It's very confusing. It makes it look like every milkshake is the more expensive "signature shake" price. I think it should be re-designed so all shakes are listed with their normal price with an "add-on" off to the side for the signature price. Just my thoughts.
Waited 30 minutes for the worst milkshakes. they had no taste the were too thick to even drink, we took one sip and threw them away and wasted our money. on top of the wait and gross ice cream the worker inside was blowing her nose repeatedly and going right back to making milkshakes without even washing her hands.
