A Mid-Michigan Garagiste Winery located in Haslett, Michigan, Burgdorf's Winery was opened in 2005 by Deb and Dave Burgdorf. With nearly 40 years of artisan wine-making experience, vintner Deb Burgdorf has crafted a wide-variety of exceptional, award-winning wines. Burgdorf's prides itself on using all Michigan-grown grapes/fruit, and producing all wines onsite, making it a Truly Michigan winery. At Burgdorf's, wine is created from start to finish with the greatest care, from the crushing, juicing and fermentation all the way through bottling, sales and distribution. This is "A Moment in Wine" experience well worth a visit!

My wife and I were very impressed by the collections of wines we tasted. I'm partial to the unoaked Chardonnay, but the reds were noteworthy too. Best part of our last visit was the cheese plate; the MSU Trio was delectible and I recommend it with a tasting.

First things first do not be put off when you pull up and realize this is a home. Im serious. This place was really really nice. We were greeted by the owner and give the low down on how they got to be where they are tody. The decor was a mix of Michigan wine related wine items from slate mitten cutting boards to chic insulated wine purses. I recommend doing the $5 tasting and going from there, my favorite was  "Perfection" and their "Ice Wine". After out tasting we purchased a glass and moved to the back patio, it was so quiet and peaceful. I can't imagine what it is like when the trees are all full.  I can't recommend this place more. Well worth the stop off of the freeway.  Can't wait to go back
