This counter service restaurant is dingy and dated, I felt gross leaving the restaurant. Their fries were not crispy and not seasoned. The onion rings were very crispy. The bacon cheeseburger and fairground burger was alright seems expensive for what you get.
Pretty decent burger joint! Burger itself was cooked well and the ingredients tasted fresh and made to order. Fries were a little bit of a let down personally. The real star of the show for the Burger Express are their shakes. Holy moly, their shakes are something else. I’d go back here just for the shakes, no questions asked. Great texture, flavor was incredible, and the amount you get for the price is very generous.
Cheese burger with added jalapeños, subbed fries for chili fries. 16 bucks total. Burger was solid. Would get again. Regular fries are basic with not much flavor. Tried the chili fries and made them betterbut still not the best but serving size was giant.
This is our first time we visit Burger express and it’s going to be the last time. We had to wait 50 minutes for our order. We never saw french frites like this!! It’s burning and even they didn’t think to tell us about it until we got home and saw it… Costumer service is SO Poor

Literally messed up every aspect of my order and I was the only one there. Wanted sweet potato fries got regular Wanted only mustard on a hotdog and got the trash in the attached picture And gave them a $5 tip for it. Lazy POS’s
This place has very good food, the hamburgers are tasty and good size with a large portion of fries and fry sauce included. I’ve tried a lot of burger places through Tacoma and will not mind the drive to get to burger express. Only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is: The place is a bit run down, disorderly and not the cleanest place but you can see the quality of food looks up to par. The staff is polite and very accommodating if needed. Prices are good and options are good. I recommend this place
Best burgers in federal way. Don't really like the fries but who goes to a burger joint for fries. It's got that old fashion diner atmosphere. Kinda beat up inside to be blunt but I'm not gonna knock it any stars cause I don't go there for the view either. I go there to eat the best burger in fed way.Food: 5/5
The Hamburger and milkshake I got were really excellent. The fries were actually pretty bad but the rest of the meal made up for it. I got their standard deluxe hamburger and a strawberry milk shake and I can definitely recommend this to anybody looking for a good hamburger and a shake.
People here are excellent and the atmosphere is ok. Nothing special. It's just a burger place so I don't expect much. Good is amazing. Shakes was amazing too.. except the cups shed in the shake so I have pieces of the cup in the shake. Ended up eating styrofoam. I hope they see this and use different cups. The food is too good to let it get ruined because of inexpensive cups.
