I have had the opportunity now to try four different burgers here, both the fry options, and the loaded fries. Don't let the fact that its just a family owned food truck fool you. You can put their burgers up against any fast food chain or any high end burger restaurant, Burger Pioneers will come out on top. The buns are delivered fresh every day. The quality and taste of their beef will have you coming back again and again. Believe me, I find myself stopping by two or three times a week. You can pick any item on the menu and you'll enjoy every bite. If you find yourself struggling to choose a meal, allow me to make a suggestion. The Mountain Man Loaded Fries are amazing. Spend the extra fifty cents and add some sautéed mushrooms. You will enjoy every single bite! In my opinion, Burger Pioneers has the best burgers in Utah County and possibly the best in state!

Found this place after googling “best burgers in Utah County”. The usual suspects came up in the search with 4-4.5* ratings but since moving here a year ago I’ve never been hugely impressed by any burger I’ve had. Scrolled down a little and Burger Pioneers was sitting there with a perfect 5* rating, but was nowhere near the top. After reading some of the reviews we decided to head down for lunch. We were not disappointed.  We opted for the Wild West and Gold Rush Cheeseburgers from the menu. The buns are fantastic. Patty, best I’ve had in Utah. Salad, fresh as you could hope for and the pioneer sauce I don’t have words for…….epic is as close as I can offer. We accompanied our burgers with a portion of waffle fries and a regular crinkle fry…..both of which were made fresh to order and accompanied again by a lovely serving of pioneer sauce. The owner even offered us a serving of his spicy version which is even better again.  All in with drinks was around $25 which obliterates the ridiculous prices offered by these big chains……and I’d much rather give my money to hardworking, independent business owners who are really nice than some conglomerate.  The guys there are fantastic, the service was great. Hands down won’t find better in Utah County and I’ve found my go-to burger joint after a year of searching. Well done guys see you again soon

Wow, excellent burger the Mountain Man!. Amazing waffle fries too! Denny, the owner, was a gracious host. Told us how his son's wife passed away unexpectedly. This food truck has been part of the recovery. The son was a chef for a couple decades before launching Burger Pioneer, and the proof is in the food. Expect to wait maybe 20 minutes or so for your food, as gourmet takes time. Also, if you go in the winter, make sure to bundle up as it is an outdoor venue. They were so friendly and kind, and the food is simply top notch. Highly recommend!

Super awesome burgers and fries. We've been over twice now. The burgers are amazing. The cheese steak is incredible. The waffle fries are very well done. I hope they stick around. We'll be back again and again.Food: 5/5

The burgers were pretty good but the French fries weren’t. The staff was really friendly but we had to wait almost 30 minutes to get our food. The parking lot was a giant mud puddle.

Definitely recommend! One of our new favorites! FOOD: 5/5- Very high quality and delicious! Juicy patties, perfectly cooked real bacon. Waffle fries are a hit, especially with their sauce. PRICE: 5/5 - Honestly for what I got I would have expected to pay more. At first I thought $11 for a double cheeseburger was a bit pricy but WOW the burgers are huge! I'm a big guy and couldn't finish it. For that much food, it was super cheap. SERVICE: 5/5 Owner was cool to talk to you and brought my order to me in the car when it was raining.

Incredible burgers and amazing service.  You know when you find that perfect “hole in the wall burger joint” that you can’t wait to tell everyone about?!  This is it!!!  The mountain man burger even satisfied my teenage boys appetites!

SO good. He knows how to cook a fantastic burger! Waffle fries are amazing. Hot dang! His flavors and cooking skills are far beyond what available around the corner. If you are feeling a burger or fries, do yourself a favor and eat here.

Burger Pioneers is one of those food trucks that you always drive by whenever you're going to Walmart or some other store. You're always curious about it but never have the courage to stop by. I exhort you to try this place. The prices look expensive until you realize the burgers fill an entire take out box. And then they somehow fill it even more with waffle fries??? AND those fries are seasoned??? Gas.  Really though, they have a heart-touching story behind the store's opening. Go give them some business, they deserve it.  Parking: Plenty of parking

Absolutely delicious! I got the trailblazer burger because I love spicy food and it hit all the right spots! The waffle fries were cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious.Food: 5/5
