One of the best Japanese Markets I have ever been to! They have so much Japanese goodies at great prices. Bonus is that they sell amazing, fresh uni for only $12.99! Wish I lived in this area so I could frequent Nijiya all the time!

This is a wonderful little market. We found it because we're waiting to pick someone up at the San Francisco airport and we needed to use a restroom so I looked up Starbucks which is just down the street actually closer than that and we decided to walk up the street a little bit and came across Burlingame farmers market and went in just to look around. What we found was a delight lots of different fresh produce some of it less expensive than some of the big markets that I go to in Santa Cruz yes you're wondering why I was here from Santa Cruz will I said that at the beginning of this we were just there to pick up somebody from the airport and we are very lucky to find this place the best thing about it was it introduced me to Turkish delight. I have never had Turkish delight, I couldn't believe how good these treats were yes there expensive but if you buy them in small amounts we tried a little bit of everything all my God this is so good. I can't believe I've gone all my life without trying Turkish delight. I will actually come back to this place so I can find out which company makes the Turkish delight. And see if I can go right to the factory, or restaurant or bakery wherever they make it I've got to see it. It is so so good anyway there's lots of other things here at this nice store they call it a farmers market because his lots of different items in here that you just can't get anywhere else great pomegranates big pomegranates and they're cheaper than most of any of your other stores so we got a couple !! Anyway if you're in this area you should really check out the store it's very cool.

Best produce around - especially during the summer season. Fair prices. Good selection of hard to find Russian and Middle Eastern grocery items. Meat selection very limited.

Love the organic selection of fruits and vegetables. They cut some fruits in half as samples to show you how good it is inside. It really has products from around the world! 🌐

This is our favorite specialty grocery store in the world and we're so lucky to have it in our little town. Whether it's baklava, tahini, Russian pelmeni and sausage, whatever it is you're looking for from the other side of the pond, you can find it here. Go somewhere else for your meat selection, as there is no meat/deli counter here, but everything else you could possibly need for your worldly pantry is in this store. They also have a great juice bar (Sidewalk Juice) inside, so you can have a smooth or kombucha while you peruse the isles looking for international goodies.
