I haven't been to Historical Society in about 10 years. What a pleasant surprise when I visited on Sunday, March 23, 2014. It is beautiful. The displays have been set up with a lot of thought. It is truly a treasure. And I was quite impressed with the authentic kitchen. I felt like I was in my great grandmother's kitchen in Wheatland, Wisconsin. I was also interested in genealogy research and Don was able to provide me with the records I was looking for. It is definitely worth a visit for all ages. Lots to look and even more to learn.
