Real Food, Real Fire, Reallly Good!

Story

We use the Tulsa made Hasty Bake Charcoal Oven to grill and smoke our foods over hardwood charcoal. We enjoy cooking over live fire and appreciate the challenge of "on site" catering.

Ate here for the first time last Tuesday. We came in just before noon and it was very busy but we got right in and placed our order. The food was out very fast. Very neat set up and vibe to the place. Open seating on big wooden tables with wooden benches. Seen they had a full liquor bar. I had the small(turned out to be a huge serving still) pulled pork which came out as a sandwich. It was delicous. Definitely as good as any barbecue I have had. Also the bake beans were amazing and very distinct. Also I recommend trying the fire grilled potato salad. Seems to be a new Tulsa Hot Spot!

This is hands down the best BBQ I have ever had. Well worth the wait which can be long. I have had everything on the menu and it is all delicious. My favorite items are the ribs which fall off the bone, the brisket, and the fatty which is is a combination of meats wrapped in bacon. The staff is really friendly and once you order the food comes fast.

I had a GREAT LUNCH at Burn Co today. If you have never tried this restaurant just get there early because when they run out you will be out of luck. Enjoy the experience.Jim

The smoking method they use here ends up tasting really harsh and too strong in the meat. Not my thing. I prefer smoke to flavor the meat in a more natural smooth kind of way that jives a little more with the natural flavor of the meat. If you eat here better be prepared for the chance you might have acrid smoky burps the rest of the day like I did.

The best BBQ in Oklahoma hands down. Get the ribs, get the potato salad! If you are here on a Thursday or Friday you have to try the Mac and cheese as well. Chicken and sausages don't disappoint either. If you have a big crowd, ask for a happy plate no one will leave hungry and everyone will get to try something off the menu. And remember to "SHUT THE DOOR!".
