Why oh why can’t greyhound invest in its depots? My guess is they really don’t care or they want to stay the same (stodgy, dated and headed the way of Woolworths). Bathrooms are smelly. Food choices are limited to instant diabetes or heart problems. All items are overpriced to ensure that you understand that the value gives the medical community more money. Staff personnel are hard to find. Why they can’t have a departures board is beyond me. But then that would defeat the purpose of spending fifteen minutes looking for a clerk or standing in line even longer to ask the same question. As for the clientele, you can imagine all you want that they are the downtrodden, the folks that the book Jungle speaks of. WRONG!!! Let me tell you this. I opened a pack of cigarettes that had one cig in it, the folks next to me saw that and gave me a couple of cigarettes from there dwindling supply. See that’s the thing, if I were are at an airport no one would speak to me, much less offer anything. Why?? Because they are all important in there limited mindset. But back to this depot. The travelers are members of every sector of society yet Greyhound is prepared to lose customers by providing crappy depots.
