The worse court I ever have ! I see a lot people outside and waiting and waiting since 1:15pm  the court set time to for every one to showed up  but it’s 2:16 pm they still waiting outside in pretty cold outside as they have not started court yet ! What are they doing up there inside the court house ?? Playing around ??  They needed to fix it up

I give them a star simply because the phone did ring. Other than that, customer service sucks! I have called 5 times already and they have no answering machine to leave a message nor a waiting line. If I miss court because of COVID and unable to let them know, they blame me. I thought they were supposed to protect and serve...not the other way around.

Never witnessed or heard of any other court house that is so blatantly biased and flaky. They are bad at communicating, bad at controlling their emotions, and bad at many technical aspects of their job. Things will be lost, wrong info will be given, nobody will take responsibility but they will expect you to apologize to them for their own mistakes. Judge will tell you that you are not allowed to argue any points in court, they will allow unrelated details effect the outcome of proceedings. They regularly violate Kansas rule 601b for code of judicial conduct, and they back eachother up for it. The judge, DA, and clerks. This place is the epitome of everything that is wrong in our legal system. I'm very conservative, but these people are the definition of fascism. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. They will try to intimidate, make threats, and keep you from speaking your side whatsoever. They fight on a regular basis to operate under a court system where they call the shots and make up rules along the way, keeping the decision out of our hands for our own fate. It's time for them to be humbled with a reality check, the judicial system works FOR THE PEOPLE to uphold our Constitution first and our laws. They are our servants, but are not willing to operate in that dynamic.

Nothing helpful. This office is nothing but lazy, procrastinating, disrespectful people going to work doing little as possible for a paycheck

We file evictions all the time in Cowley county and Sedgwick. Anytime we have to use Butler the clerks always screw it up and takes four times as long to get anything done. Complete night and day difference from the other Courts.

Unable to get anyone on the phone during business hours.

The clerks in the office have always been very helpful and friendly when I've gone in marriage license.
