The Butte-Silver Bow Law Enforcement Department is responsible for providing all law enforcement services to the citizens of Butte-Silver Bow. We are a consolidated city/county agency. Our chief administrator is an elected Sheriff. Our current Sheriff is Ed Lester. In addition to law enforcement services, the BSBLED is also responsible for operating the Silver Bow Detention Center and the 911 Dispatch Center. The BSBLED consists of all Police Officers, Detention Officers, and Dispatchers.

The most corrupt police I've ever seen. And when there is an actual crime like grand theft, they say "oh we can't help you that's a civil matter" what, how the he'll is someone refusing to give my car back not grand theft, its my car someone has it without my permission, that's criminal, oh that's right, you probably knew the person, can't deny the good ol boy system, do your damn jobs. Justice for all, remember.

I was just told by dispatch to call and let them know when my tenant was at his residence so they could serve him with an eviction notice.  What am I'm supposed to do their job for them?

Just don't slide off the road near Butte Montana and get stuck in the snow when there isn't adequate traction sand or de-icer on the pavement because you will be given a ticket. You will be told, even though there is absolutely  no proof, that you were driving too fast for the road conditions when the fact of the matter is is that the ice on the highway is the highway Department's responsibility to have cleaned up especially on nice sunny days. Any reason whatsoever they can find to ticket you especially if you're from out of state is good enough for them. I hope you people are proud of yourselves
