Thanks to buttercup bakery I was able to grant my daughter her dessert wishes for her baby shower. She wanted these cake pops . I tried my hand at them but they all didn't work out as planned ,some cracking,some fell off sticks etc.. it was such a relief  when I went to this bakery and she said "sure I can do it, show me the picture". Ahhh!  They were both beautiful,  and delicious a real hit!

While the cake itself was delicious, their customer service was wonderful. We had a mishap with our cake, but they were able to fix the decoration within the next hour. Would recommend!

I lucked onto The Buttercup Bakery while circling the block, a hidden gem! I was offered a free sample immediately, then lingered in the quiet outdoor café courtyard to enjoy a fine cup of coffee and a delicious pastry - the Cherry Cobbler Bar is a delight! I also took with me, and have sampled, a Butter Toffee Cookie and a Lemon Crumble Bar... both are fabulous treats! You can't go wrong at The Buttercup Bakery!

Our new favorite spot for baked goods. We were spoiled with fresh scones on our first visit and impressed with the blueberry muffin and banana cake on the second visit. Most places will skimp on the fruit, Buttercup DOES NOT. We love how friendly the owner is, and she makes sure to get our coffees exactly as we want them! Thank you for the great service to Deland!  We will be repeat offenders. Check out this spot if you haven’t already.

We bought Buttercup's chocolate and red velvet gluten free mini cupcakes for our son's rehearsal dinner...they were awesome and decorated perfectly!! Buttercup's carrot cake gluten free cupcakes were served at the wedding..they were out-of-this-world delicious!! Highly recommend their gf cupcakes!

I want to preface this review by saying I am not the type of person to leave negative reviews even when dissatisfied because I know that they can be harmful, so I hope that shows how disrespected and upset I am by their total lack of care. I found this bakery online and thought it was a great match for a party I was planning, I loved the small business aspect and the desserts looked very good but I called 11 times over the course of 3 weeks trying to talk to someone in charge about placing a reasonably large order and was met with the biggest game of run around that has ever existed. I don’t know if I ever spoke to the owner or a manager but the employees I did speak to continued to take my information and tell me that I would be getting a call back the same day, the next day or a scheduled day, which never happened. I waited and waited because I really loved this small business and wanted to use them to cater a corporate party I was planning. I have worked in the service industry a long time and the level of disrespect and games I was met with is unmatched to any other business/person I have dealt with. It would have been very easy to just let me know like adults running a business that they were not interested in my order. I hope in the future they show a level of decorum and respect for their prospective clients.

Perfect little place that has many options for anyone’s taste. I got the Kentucky butter cake amazing chocolate chip cookie for my daughter and a large chocolate cupcake. I forgot to take pictures of my actual desert! Trust me when I tell you every bite is perfect. It’s a good thing this place isn’t close to me otherwise you’d catch me on an episode of “my 600lbs life” but I might be ok with that because this little gem is worth it. If you’re in Deland stop by the bakery, ask for a glass of milk, sit at the park adjacent to shop and enjoy some sweets in a beautiful day.

It was good. The banana split cake was awesome. And they have so many ducks to look at. Got a mango tea. It was kinda weak as they just put the teabag in so your usually done drinking it before its actually tea but the mango flavor was good. Would definitely reccomend

Came here for the first time and it is an awesome place.  I had a coffee and Apple Cinnamon cake and it was wonderful. I will be back soon

Quick service, friendly workers, order and pick up from outside. Layered peanut butter and browniileftand Oreo Blondie I think it's called on the rite. Little expensive at 5.50 each. Hope it taste good. Will update later.
