Stayed here in September 2016. Wonderful, quite, private campground on a small lake and surrounded by a sub-alpine fir forest populated by lodgepole pine and Douglass fir trees mostly. Each site is average in size and comes equipped with a fir ring and picnic table. I recommend camping on the north side of the grounds closer to the lake because it is easiest to get in and out of the grounds and has easy access to open sky for star viewing at night. If you arent familiar with area it's worth noting that the high Unitas tend to create their own micro weather systems and it is not uncommon to see passing showers come through at night as the air cools. This is especially true above 8,500 ft. The campground is located about 32 miles from Kamas on UT-150 (Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. This is a great place to camp and park prior to a foray into the Uintas along the Highline Trail for a muli-night back packing trip, and is also just as good to see up for few days of day hikes and fishing on the abundant options if trails and lakes/ponds. Bring bug repellant, prepare for bears, secure food accordingly. Water is a available as well as a vault toilette. Don't expect to be alone or to even get a spot late in the day any time from late June through the end of August.

The campground was right near the two lakes (which did make it really cold at night, be sure to pack accordingly).  Just a few steps away from camp, and you've some incredible views. 

Highly recommend.

Beautiful Lake. Enough activities for everyone rock climbing, walking trail, fishing,camping, lounging.
