This is a lovely campground. Very well maintained. Amazing owners. You can sit in the shade by the creek and relax. This is a great place to stay if you are checking out local wineries! There are a lot of excellence ones very close. They even have a well maintained nice 1.5 mile walking trail that leads from the campground to Grassy Creek Winery. A very nice walk.

Serene, peaceful and quaint.  The little campground is awesome in so many ways! The owners, Sarah and Jerry, are extremely kind and very accommodating.  They've got customer service down to a science! Our site #10 is gravel and relatively level. If you're looking for a low key, quiet campground surrounded by tons of natural beauty and the occasional sounds of mooing cows, this is the place for you! We will definitely be staying here again!

I stayed here last weekend with 10 others in the tent area. The site was very nice with a great fire pit and new picnic tables. The scenery was great with a  nice small creek and ponds nearby and lots of pine trees. A new pit toilet was provided nearby which was greatly appreciated.
The office building has bathrooms and showers for one at a time, one for men and one for women. The bathroom/shower room was heated and clean.
The office has snacks, coffee, ice cream and firewood. The​ owner was very friendly and informative about the area. Brochures for local activities and places to visit are provided.
We hiked from the campground 1.5 miles through pretty woods to Grassy creek winery, which was great. The trail was well marked and fairly easy.
Elkin has some good restaurants and several wineries nearby.
This is definitely a place to come back to when exploring the area. 
There is some minor traffic going by, so if tent camping and you're a very  light sleeper, maybe bring ear plugs.

Found this campground to stay at while looking at real estate in the area. We spent a total of 8 days in one of the full hook up sites. This is a very nice campground, good water pressure and power, great 4G Verizon service at sites 11 and 12 (the full hook up sites). The owners are great and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. Downtown Elkin is quaint  and has nice restaurants to eat at. Lots of wineries in the area to visit. We are from New Hampshire and we will come back to this campground again. UPDATE. We came back for about a week in April 2017 to continue our house hunt. Our stay was once again wonderful, we will be back this summer for a couple of months.

The owners were extremely friendly and very helpful. The campground and surrounding area was beautifully maintained. One of the cleanest bathroom/shower we've ever encountered. Great view of the night sky, not too far from historic Elkin, NC. We would definitely visit there again.
