Super disappointed with my experience. Took IS 201 online, and it was TERRIBLE. There were several errors on quizzes and exams, and I didn't get points back. Also, the professor doesn't have access to the textbook or other material? What the heck, right? So, I was helpless.  I tried to get a refund, and I was denied since I am still going to finish the class. Don't recommend.

I'd love to give you no stars but, it wouldn't let me.  Your classes are all awful.  I'd rather be in a classroom instead of doing this!  There are many problems with this program I wouldn't know where to start.  All I needed was a grade in order to get into a school I wanted to go but, I didn't know I signed up for hell.  It isn't worth your time or your money to do this curriculum.

These are the worst classes.  I had a math class that had 20 problems a section, and then you would take a test.  It was not nearly enough practice.  I then took a programming class that had a glitch in the software and assessed a final grade (an F as I was still in the first quarter of the class), they wouldn't do anything about it unless the teacher approved.  The teacher of course never responded, so I had to drop out and waste 25.00.  I am now fighting to get them to send my CTE grade to my school.  It has been 6 months, and yes I said I wanted it sent.  I could go on and on.  Find a new solution.  This isn't an education.

I have taken 2 courses from Independant study. I think the problem is that you feel like you are totally on your own with the class. I think it could be that online model of education isn't ideal. But that being stated I think they could do a lot better. With physics their was no tutorial videos from the instructor at all. I assumed with each chapter it would be like here is an example problem and how to do it. Their was a tutor but I didn't find her helpful to me at ALL!! (Just a side note I did pass the class thanks to good friends who are physics masters) In my other class there was huge gaps bestween what was expected of me and the info available to me from the readings. Also frustrating you have no contact with the instructor. I only recomend this if it is your absolute last resort!!!
