Nice place to visit while you shop for a quick coffee and a snack. Not very busy, around 11 and the orders come out quick. However, they do not have any high chairs. Completely missing the mark on that one seeing there is a kids studio and lots of kids stores at the mall.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
Grossly overpriced and mediocre food. I’ve been here twice and both times underwhelmed. It’s so expensive for what you get. $12 for this piece of bread. They also charge $3-4 á la carte for every additional ingredient - even tomato. I would only come here if you want a dessert or baked good, but not for a full meal. The food is fresh and the staff are nice but not worth the money.
I was eager to try out this place and was quite disappointed. Everything is served in plastic, you have to actually request silverware plastic from the team as they are not proactive at all. The coffee taste very industrial, the food is not tasty either. This place has an "airport food court vibe". I'm only giving it 3 stars because if you are really hungry/thirsty you can go here.
It's living proof that Merrick needs more cafes, because this one is mediocre and still does a thriving business. On my last visit, we ordered a couple of coffees and a couple of croissants. First off, it took an easy 15 minutes to get 2 coffees and 2 croissants and the croissants were not even warmed, so they could have just put them in a plate. They bring them in a paper bag, though we are sitting there. I ask for a plate. They don't have any plates. 5 minutes. They bring me some plastic box. No cutlery at all. Another 5 minutes. Plastic knife and fork. No napkins. It's like pulling teeth to get any service whatsoever. And yes, they do a ton of business, so evidently there is a need for more cafes in Merrick.
If you are in need of a quick drink or coffee, this isn’t a bad place to grab something. However additional charges per size of a drink on top of the drink cost itself is sneaky and not appreciated. The extra charge for alternative milk is one thing which I always do not appreciate. But a dollar for a size?? It’s sneaky and when asked we learned it’s programmed into the system. Check your bill if you go here…
0/10 - everything we ordered was underwhelming to terrible. Not French at all. Butter on the tostada was margarine and jam was smuckers. Egg focaccia sandwich was served on ciabatta… extremely dry. Coffee was trash. Not sure how this place is in business still…
So I asked for a double espresso. But then I saw the girl doing them, puts one shot and adds hot water to it. Coffee was horrible. Croissants were heat up and still tasted old.Food: 1/5
Chicken Shawarma pita was horrible. Bread tasted like it was a year old chicken 1 month old served with potato sticks a week old. You can do better
Upstairs. Little shop with nice treats and good coffee. Fresh baked goods like cookies pastries, croissants and other amazing deserts.
This placed closed for over a year and finally reopened last month sporting a new sleek renovation. They have new grab n go salads, sandwiches, snacks plus they have expanded their old menu. The place is also bigger and have more outdoor seating.
