Streetside appeal beacons one come hither. Entry dessert display and sales counter are the hook. Decor, atmosphere, flow of table seating and bar area are the line leading you to the Oceanside deck where continued decor and atmosphere are the sinker. I'm in! Host, server, owner were all attentive and friendly. Menu is extensive. Quiche was to die for. Gorgeous. Flavorful. not America's typical shaken and stirred pie. This was layers of whole spinach, fresh sauteed mushrooms topped with gooey thickness of cheese resting in a no-crumb-left-behind pie crust. Husband's burger on toasted brioche was perfection. The dessert tray was successful at inviting to even the most full stomachs to eat just a little bit more our selections were tough, dry, weak flavor. I liked C'est La Vie so much that I feel bad giving a review of less than 5 stars. We vacationed in Laguna Beach. I feel familiarity with a restaurant and therefore, reviews need to be based on more than one meal. A must go.

They had a Paris breakfast special for $10, it says on a storefront sign but upon payment I was charged $15. Turns out I didn't pick the correct Paris breakfast meal. I forgot the explanation the waitress gave me but turns out there's 2 Paris name meals. Why would you name 2 meals with the same name? I didn't even point to the menu, I just asked for the Paris breakfast, waitress didn't ask me to clarify which one. Though they did adjust the charge. Service is great here. But food is not so good..... They gave me stale 4 leaves of greens and a think sliced watermelon left out for a time. Sausage link was not hot... As if they didn't cook it enough. Will not come back again but it is a decent place to have breakfast and the staff here is very friendly and great at what they do.

The food and (some) service was satisfactory. I enjoyed the unique dinner, and the decorations in the restaurant are beautiful. However, one waiter was rude and completely horrible. His attitude was absolutely terrible, and he glared once we sat down. We hadn't even ordered anything yet when I heard him cuss and call us annoying! All the other waiters were nice and polite. We had made a reservation to let them we were coming a week before we arrived, so I don't think he had the right to give us continuous rude remarks like how we shouldn't have came. I think what really made me angry was when that waiter had placed the blame on us for being a group of twenty people. Is it wrong of us to want to eat together??!! >:( I would give this place a five or four star if we hadn't felt so unwanted the entire dinner.

Excellent food. Great service. Lovely view from the patio. The seafood crepe is a must try menu choice. French onion soup authentic and perfectly made. They have free parking behind the restaurant, since parking on the street in front of it can be a bit tricky.

Impeccable food. Every visit has been a wonderful experience. All the staff is very friendly and will always go the extra mile to make you satisfied with your visit. EVERYTHING you can eat here is amazing, do not be scared to try anything that catches your eye and always get a cronut.
