We ate there by chance traveling. Our meals were excellent. The portions were generous and the service was great.  The menu offered unique options as well. We stopped again on our way back home that is how good it was

Don't come here if you are in a hurry. Food is always good. Service is close to horrible. Worth the wait though. My suggestion is to have the waitress leave the check when she brings your food. They have a giant menu so they literally have something for everyone. Going on a dinner date and don't know what you want, come here.

For a basically nowhere town this is a nice pub. Good beer selection and good food. Service leaves sime2thing to be desired but they are friendly folks.

I have been coming to CJ Maggie's off and on since around 2000.  In that time, I have consistently enjoyed the food they serve.  The service, eight times out of ten, is spectacular, and the atmosphere is excellent.

If you find yourself hungry in the Buckhannon area, there are far worse choices than CJ Maggie's.  I heartily recommend it.
