The warranty on the Cabela's brand is something worth looking into and their products are normally on par, but lower priced compared to brands you look for. Many of the other name brand's here are closer to MSRP than at other retailers, but sometimes they have sales that beat even online prices. 
The Cabela's brand and the sales are what I go there for. They also have a very wide selection, which is nice for people who must hold something in their hands before they are comfortable buying it. - not me, but I sort of understand.
Also, they have a grill with good food, and some options like Elk burgers you won't find many other places.

I’ve been to other cabelas stores and by now they would already have holiday prices, too pricey for me so I went across the street to academy. Nice store though. (Over rated and over priced)

I was shopping for a new pair of hiking boots.
A salesclerk named Aaron was absolutely Awesome! Was very patient - helped me with several different styles and sizes.

I would have given one stars, if it wasn't for our cashier Jaydn. She was bubbly and talked to us like we were human. Not one worker in Cabela's greeted us or asked if we needed help with anything. Although, they asked other customers near us if they need  (those who looked like them). The majority of Cabela's employees are beyond racist! Our money spends the exact same! I only shop there when I am given a gift card because I'd be damned, if I'd spend my hard earned money in a place, who has racist and prejudice employees.

Good selection.  Man working gun area looked down his nose at me when I asked where a certain brand of gun was.  He told me he had never heard of it.  I walked off as my husband made his purchase and pointed out the case with the guns I was interested in and told him he just lost a sale.
