I was looking for a specific product but didn't really get much help from anyone behind the sporting goods counter except a quick search to tell me it's not behind the counter so if I didn't see it on the rack they don't carry it. I'm not sure if they are allowed to order in products but they didn't offer to do that either. I also bought a bow case I needed and then like usual Cabela's fashion I found it $20 cheaper at the other large name sporting goods store across the street, so that figures. It probably wouldn't bother me so much if I had at least gotten some help. The other store didn't have the product either but at least they offered to order it, explained the differences between the brands they had in stock, etc.

I came across a Savage rimfire mark2 with a target scope that appeared in decent shape. I could not find the brand of the scope but it was clear and the cross hairs centered perfectly when shouldered. I put the rifle on lay away and recently got it out. The clerk that eventually came to assist me after waiting for help went through the process and was shown the rifle and the magazine and taped up the box. I got the rifle home and I noticed the cross hairs were canted and not in focus. I realized the scope was changed and now has a inexpensive Bushnell on it . I should have taken a picture of the rifle before I let the clerk take the rifle to be put away.  I am not happy with the incident but have no proof it happened I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Very nice store, quiet on Sunday morning, wishing I'd found 100% cotton socks and also vacuum-sealed food storage bags (as in my favorite hometown Texas store, but will check online).  The herd of bison is OUTSTANDING!

Great store if you are into, hunting and fishing. Our kids enjoy going and looking at all of the animals and the live fish. Smaller store then the Mitchell, SD store, but if they don't have what you are looking for you can find it online and have it shipped to the store.

Spent a gift card from 5+ years ago, no problem. Always friendly. Good product. I'd go back.
