Cabrillo was very prompt in responding to our call, even though this was not an emergency, and it was a Saturday. Brian was extremely professional and helpful in explaining the issues and work needed, but unfortunately did not have the needed supplies on his truck, otherwise he would have fixed everything then.  He came back first thing Monday and finished very quickly.  I saw one other review complaining about the prices.  Cabrillo seemed about on par for cost, and as has been said, "you get what you pay for!" Cabrillo was the second company we had to call to correct plumbing needed to install a new dishwasher. The first company broke a pipe in the process of a valve replacement and used questionable replacement hose materials.  Brian informed us the installed valve was not the correct type and replaced it along with new pipe, and installed a separate valve and hose to plumb water back to our refrigerator.  The first company just removed the water supply and said it wasn't  possible to reconnect.  So - I'd say Cabrillo did a great job!  Brian is excellent with communications, and was also willing to inspect other parts of our 60-year old pipe system for any other issues. Fortunately things checked out fine.  Candice, in Cabrillo's office, was also very timely and responsive with the paperwork, which I appreciated.

Very professional interaction with these guys! They were open and upfront about pricing and showed up promptly. I'm a very happy customer and got my hot water back!

Saturday night I noticed my hot water heater leaking, so I followed the steps to shut it down from the Cabrillo sticker on the heater, and called the 1-800 number. Both the call center and the local dispatch were kind and helpful on the phone as they scheduled a Monday morning appointment for me. Brian arrived promptly at 7am and quickly assessed the situation. He was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. He and Victor cleanly removed the old water heater, installed the new one, explained usage, and finished the whole process by 11:30. I was very pleased with the service and can highly recommend them.

We were stuck as our 16 year old shower fixture stopped working. Cabrillo expedited a visit from Patrick who was professional and competent. He replaced the diverter and cartridge quickly. But no!!! one crucial piece went missing through the process of us trying to diagnose the problem and Patrick doing his work. Gessa (the most excellent customer service rep) researched the problem, found the part and ordered it for express delivery. When it arrived, someone from their shop dropped it off and we put it all together. Works perfectly! They went above and beyond and always kept a positive and friendly attitude. We will use them again if/when we have plumbing needs.

They are very polite and professional.  Be warned, however, that they are VERY expensive.  They did not, for example, warn me that the 'coming out to look' fee of $189, would also be on top of the $519 fee for installing a new switch.  $700 for 1.5 hours of work and a $20 part is really steep.  To their credit, they agreed to fold the $189 fee into the $519.
