I really enjoyed this place. It has a casual atmosphere with the trappings of an American diner, but of course the fare is Cuban. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and a cafe con leche, and expectations were met. A lot of the other lunches looked even better too. Prices were reasonable, and service was prompt and friendly. I would go back.
It was not that bad coming here for the first time. The staff was cool and the restaurant was clean. I ordered the Cuban Philly and the only disappointment was the bread but the fries made up for the sandwich flaw. Everything was very good except for the bread because it was not soft. This is a nice place to bring friends family or have a date. The location is by buses and other restaurants in the area.
Food, service, and staff are all great. They have delicious daily specials and a great selection of food to choose from on the menu. Prices are fair in regards to its location. Every person who works here is extremely attentive and makes sure that they satisfy any of your meal needs. I would say price wise, it's ok for being pretty deep in downtown Miami. You can't expect the lowest prices for the area, but for what you get with your meal it's pretty good. The only con, I'd say, is the overuse of fans and AC indoors. On some seats, your food will get a bit colder quicker than others.
The best breakfast downtown. Everything was fresh and hot.Food: 5/5
Good portions. Good prices for downtown. Central location. Indoor seating and option to go outdoor window. Complimentary toasted Cuban bread to start. Service was rather quick. Great for in and out lunchtime. Variety of full meals, sandwiches, and small bites. Smoothies, juices, sodas, coffee available.
Took my 18 year old son to eat breakfast where I used to eat breakfast when I was pregnant with him when I worked downtown however the food wasn't as good anymore neither was the atmosphere. However our waitress was very sweet. I probably will not go backFood: 3/5
The Coladas are usually pretty good. The food is just okay. I mean, "after you have a chicken empanada at the Latin cafe, everything else is barely okay."Food: 3/5
Awesome food, generous portions and sooooi delish!
Great food. The outer area could be cleaner. Parking: Merered parking in area.
Went there on the word of a co-worker but also from a taste test before seeing type of thing. I experienced the food many weeks earlier from a delivery situation it was very delicious. So, I had to visit and experience the food firsthand. They did not disappoint, from the fast service of the bar/waitresses, the cashier/owner working the register so his employees can focus on the tasks at hand, and to the friendly customers waiting to be served. It was all really nice and a welcoming sight to see at 6 in the morning.
