Cactus, located in the heart of Bellevue Square, is a great spot for lunch. I went there with my team and ordered the butternut squash enchilada. It arrived looking exactly like the menu photo—props for presentation! The dish itself is an interesting combination. The sweet butternut squash paired with cheese was a bit unconventional for my taste, but the portion size was generous. The standout for me was the Austin-style guacamole—absolutely fantastic. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of the menu. The atmosphere is stylish and trendy, and the prices are what you’d expect for a place in this area. Service times could have been better. Vegetarian options: Worth a try y’all!
Absolutely delicious, BUT the most important thing was they were so fast. We were so hungry and first time in my life I got my food fast without asking. This place is very clean and staff are very nice. BTW Chips were still warm and salsa was do fresh. So we are definitely going back!Food: 5/5
Delicious food. Very unique dishes. I wish there's a free salsa and chips while we wait specially the service was lacking attentiveness. The ambiance was a bit dim and romantic. The sitting near the window took me back in Barcelona Spain, love the street view and the lights at night.Food: 5/5
The cocktails were creative and delicious! I had the prawn and melon salad and loved the flavor combination. I thought the prawns were on the small side but they were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! No complaints! Would go back again Kid-friendliness: No babies allowed in the bar area, but we're very accommodating with high chair and stroller storage.
Thank you to my waitress Alexandra and the gentlemen who both brought out food and cleared the table after. Thank you to Christin/ Kristin who provided a welcome complimentary dessert. The flan and entire meal was fabulous. The music too!! Will come back and recommend to all!!Food: 5/5
We loved everything we ordered here. Chips which were freshly made, vegetable burrita, corn quesadilla and of course the three milk cuban flan which was absolutely delicious! The watermelon aqua fresco also tasted good. We went here on a busy time but they notified us when the table got ready and we were seated within 10 minutesFood: 5/5
Everything was really good! Best steak fajitas I’ve ever had, the meat was tender and had that grilled flavor! Staff was friendly! They celebrate birthdays as well!Food: 5/5
Delicious! This is my second time here and I have been thoroughly impressed both visits. The staff is efficient, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable of the menu and drink options. The appetizers are all phenomenal and the prices are more than reasonable! If you’re in the area, highly recommend!Food: 5/5
This is for the Bellevue Square Location. There is a parking garage, we entered by going through Norstrom, and there is a string of restaurants heading to the skybridge to Lincoln Square. We sat at the bar to avoid the wait and really enjoyed a few hours just eating and throwing back the drinks. This place has really good energy and people there, including the staff, are there to have a good experience. Service was amazing and friendly, with genuine interactions with the bartenders and servers. Jenna & Littia did an amazing job even with the evening mad rush and the slushy machine breaking down. They didn't miss a beat and worked well together to keep refilling our drinks and food! Good blend of family dine-in areas as well as a nice place and atmosphere to take a date. Pricing was a good value for the portions and quality of food at about $30 a dish. Drinks will set you back $7 for beer and $15 for cocktails. They also had some good white wine options but on the sweeter side. Midas 5-stars for trifecta of quality of food, service, and atmosphere.
The queso was excellent, but the amount of brisket on my tacos was disappointing; however, the flavor on all of our food was very good. This is picky but there were not enough pepitas on my rice ‍ My son had plenty of brisket in his burrito and he loved it. When we were seated the host asked if we were fine with the QR code menu and I asked for a regular menu. He said he would bring one with no intention of actually bringing one What really made the visit were the servers I didn’t get any names I was with my son who is on the autism spectrum and we were seated next to a table where there was also someone with special needs. Each table had a different server but they were both so patient, accommodating, and respectful to both of our sons. This really means a lot to me because so many people don’t even try to interact with individuals with special needs. Both servers treated our sons like they would anyone else and you would not believe how often this does not happen. They were patient, respectful, and went out of their way to interact with them. It’s so hard to find queso and good new Mexican food in WA state so we love coming to Cactus when we are in Bellevue. You should consider opening a new location in Bonney Lake I was slightly disappointed with some of the early issues but these 2 servers made our visit and ensured that we will definitely come back.
