Café Cuba has some beautiful pictures of Cuba on the walls, it’s a cute little spot. The sandwiches we ate were good.. they come fairly plain so we had to request the lettuce & tomatoes. We asked for cheese on each but they forgot to add it. The overall flavor was good, the bread was fresh and the temperature was just right. I wasn’t impressed with the cafe con leche at all, improvement in that area is needed. They have a nice size menu & offer hot, ready to serve food as well if you’re in a time crunch. The menu is Cuban and Dominican so the name of the restaurant is a bit misleading. Our experience was nice but the woman behind the counter who attended us, told us to take pictures and told us she wanted a review from us when she brought us our food. I don’t go to restaurants to be told to leave a review. A review is usually asked for if experience is enjoyable, etc. Overall our experience was good and we enjoyed our food.
It’s been like 9 months since we had sone good Cuban food like in Miami. We found the best spot in Tampa. Delicious cuban food!!!! I came with a friend and came back next day with family. Thank you to the amazing cooks!!! Service is great too!Food: 5/5
Cafe Cuba is my go to for breakfast and/or lunch since it’s so close to my work. The staff is top notch, the food is delicious and the servings are big making it an outstanding value! You won’t be disappointed! Keep up the good work guys!!Food: 5/5
I love it here. The food is authentic and delicious. The coffee is also good, of course. I think that I found my favorite local breakfast spot. Food: 5/5
We were so pleased to find this place!! We recently moved to the area and are finding there just really aren’t many good restaurants without having to go into Tampa. We found the food to have a very authentic, homey quality to it which was very satisfying. They also have traditional ready-made foods like croquettes, empanadas, guava pastries and more. We’ll plan to come back for both dinner AND breakfast. I’m especially excited about checking out their breakfast here because they have an espresso machine real coffee! - come check them out. They’re definitely worth trying!
Nice girl at the front. Food was good too.Food: 5/5
LISTEN!!! This place is amazing! That's all you need to know!! The food tastes authentic, and is fresh and delicious! Also great portion. The young lady that helped me was so kind. Sorry, I didn't get her name...she wears glasses though. I went in for a breakfast sandwich, which I did get, however after seeing everything I ended up also getting something for later rice, beans, plantains, and pork AND a papa rellena I usually get black beans but they had pinto and garbanzo, so I tried the pintos. Everything looked so delicious though I will definitely be back to try their other dishes! By the way, I'm already munching on what I got for "later" LOL still have 1/2 of my breakfast left
Worst Cuban sandwich I've ever had. No cheese one piece of meat ham, ask for extra pickles none, terrible never be back. It's not the first time! Good luck!
This place is amazing! Delicious authentic Cuban cuisine for a reasonable price and generous portions. The establishment is very clean and the atmosphere is very peaceful. The owners are sweethearts.Recommended dishesHam Croquettes, Ropa Vieja Shredded Beef, Cuban Toast, Chicken Fricassee Roast Pork in Mojo Ropa Viejo Yellow Rice and Beans Empanadas
$10 for an 8" cuban. No flavor. The homemade roast pork was tasteless, the sandwich was dry, there was almost no mustard/mayo, one 1/8" thick piece of cheap ham and a slice of home made pork. Some lettuce, a few tomato slices and pickles rounded out this lunch time travesty. Second time disappointed here. Second worst cuban sandwich I have had over the 41 years I have lived here. The worst was a Subway from quite a few years ago. NEVER AGAIN.
