It's pretty good for a dining hall. Especially good if you're vegan or vegetarian. They keep the station with the meat separate which is nice. The employees are much nicer than the ones at crossroads. It's not that big though so sometimes it can be hard to find a seat.
Honestly, the chubby asian guy with black glasseson gbo week. During GBO WEEK IS TERRIBLE. He is calling names and SHOUTING WHAT IS YOUR GROUP! I was just walking to exit. He has the audacity to shout at students FOR NO REASON
Nice food and clean environment.
Staff likes to tell students no smoking when they smoke at that same spot with a bunch of cigarette butts on the ground.
Dessert is good because all the desserts are not made in house but besides that, there are very few highlights at Café 3. Quality of food is very consistently terrible and presentation makes you lose your appetite. Out of my seven times dining at this establishment, only once did I enjoy my meal. That being said, the dining experience you receive at Crossroads or Clark Kerr far exceeds the standards here at Café 3. tl;dr: go to Crossroads or Clark Kerr
Though much smaller in space and more limited in food selection than Crossroads, Cafe 3 has a convenient location for Unit 3 and Blackwell Hall residents. The quality of the meals is comparable to Crossroads and other dining halls. I love that salads are always an option for lunch and dinner, and that there is usually some kind of meat available for these meals. I dislike that breakfasts are generally extremely limited in variety always eggs, though there are some passable options such as cereal, yogurt, and cottage cheese always available.
At Café 3, you get what you pay for: a decent meal and a nice place to eat. The food isn't world class, but it's usually pretty good. I'm perfectly happy to eat here on a regular basis.
The food was excellent!! Everything was fresh, variety of great healthy choices, soups, salads, vegetables, and several main courses that were prepared well. I'd recommend Cafe 3 to anyone.
Mostly garbage food. Also very unsanitary. Milk is often spoiled so watch out before you enjoy that cereal youre forced to eat because everything else is innedible. The eggs served in cafe 3 are fondly known as "laxative eggs," because the fiery trip to the bathroom after a cafe 3 brunch is second to none.
Food is now pre platted for quicker service students are allowed two food trays and a salad along with beverage of choice covid 19 rules apply when visiting Cafe 3
